Iris QU Xiaoyu 曲晓宇 (b. 1993, China ) is an artist and technologist based in Brooklyn, NY. With code as her primary medium, her work engages with the speculative, political, and poetic aspects of technology.
She currently works at Google Deepmind as a prototyper of new machine learning research. Iris holds an MFA from the Design and Technology program at the New School. Her work has been exhibited at ZKM Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe, House of Electronic Arts in Basel, By Art Matters in Hangzhou, and Chronus Art Center in Shanghai.
